Training!

Yesterday I showed you my scrapbook page that I had completed through some training that Julie had set us - well today I am going to show you the different cards that we made and they all have one thing in common - they all used the BIG SHOT!

The beers have been stamped from the Cheers to You set, the blue is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder and the beers have been cut out using the Lots of Tags die

The butterflies are from The Beautiful Wings die, the green has been embossed using the Elegant Bouquet folder and the sentiment is from the Just Believe set

This has been made using the Fox and Friends stamp set. The train I belive has been made using the Decorative Label Punch (correct me if I am wrong!) and they have been cut in half and run throught the perfect Polka Dots embossing folder

This made up using two dies and an embossing folder. The papers are Spring Time Vintage and the flowers have been cut using Fun Flowers  then put on to the Top Note die which has been put through the Square Lattice embossing folder

I like this card - very simple but stunning at the same time. This is an embossing folder called Manhattan Flower and I have used the debossed side rather that the embossed side as I really liked this side better!

Right thats it for me today don't forget if you would like to learn how to do any of these projects or would like to purchase any items that you have read about then contact me at moley44@hotmail.com for a chat

Take care

First Scrapbooking ever!

I decided it was time to try my hand at scrap booking. I have the album and I have the pictures it was just a case of putting it together and what a result! This orignally came from the training I had with Julie, my upline. I couldn't make the training the other day due to being so many miles away but I had mine sent to me with all the same bits and this is what I came up with!

Abbie is my niece who is now coming up for 5months - I am totally in love with her and these two pictures are my favourit and I knew I had to start with them!

The letters are chipboard covered with glue and Glass Glitter in Baja Breeze put on them - very messy but looks great. The papers are Springtime Vintage and the flower is made using a Big Shot die called Fun Flowers - the layers have also been put through an embossing folder to give them more texture.
If you would like to learn how to do this or to start scrapbooking then why not get in contact with me and arrange a workshop

Back tomorrow with the cards from the training!

A Challenge!

So Julie (my Stampin' Up mum) set her Jems a challenge - to CASE a card from the new mini catalogue but with a twist we had to change it. This is what I came up with for the challenge.

I have taken the card from the front of the catalogue and changed it by using the Itty Bitty Bits set and the brights collection. I have also used the Boho Blosson punch to create the flower. In the middle of the flower I have used the bitty buttons.

Why not have a go your self and case a card from either catty and change something about it and see what you come up with - I'd love to see what you do

Crafty Afternoon

Well yesterday I spent the afternoon with some lovely girls for my crafty afternoon! We made two items - a tulip card and a little birdhouse treat box which went down very well!

Here are the girls bird houses that they made and there is a little treat for them in there. I love the different colour ways that every one has done. They are made using the subtles paper range and card and the two step bird punch.

I am off out to sit in the garden now with a bacon sandwich and a cuppa.. the weather is lush here in Plymouth and I am at work all week so going to make the most of it today!

I have made this little card using the new set from the Mini Catty, its called Summer Splash and I decided to make an underwater scene. I have ripped some paper to make it look like the sea and then built up the picture from there.

Happy Mothers Day!!!

Today I am going to share my Mothers Day card that I made for my mummy! I know she would have opened it by now as she is an early bird so I don't have to worry about her seeing it on here first!

I have of coursed used some new products on this and what was even better... they were FREE as I spent quite a few pennies so I earnt some free money to spend on some lovely products. I also earnt a free stamp set but I was a lovely daughter and have given that to my mummy who was delighted with it!!

This has been put together using three new products - Build a Blossom Stamp set and the matching punch for the main flower and then to add alittle something else to it I have used a Embosslits Die for the Big shot called Beautiful Wings for the butterflies. Of course I have added some bling to it and a button for the centre of the flower. The alphabet I have used is a new one but from the main catty called Brodsheet - just think its so much fun!

If you see any products that you would like to order or would like a copy of the mini then why not get in contact with me at moley44@hotmail.com

Happy Mothers Day

1st April.....Its here!!!!

Well today is launch day for the Mini Catty!!! Its so lush!!!!

Now for one thing that has landed and is soooooo lovely.... the BIG SHOT is here! There are also so exclusive embossing folders and dies to go with it. They are all so lovely!!

Right I am going to show you two cards today made with products from the mini catty and they are both products I am in love with..

This is made using the new set called Itty Bitty Bits and the Punch Pack that goes with it (the' hello' is from Hello Again). I have used the brights collection for the ink of the stamps and added alittle bit of bling - very simple but very effective!

For this card I have also stuck with the brights collection but I have used an Embosslits Die called Beautiful Wings for the big shot to creat the butterflys - this little die not only cuts out the butterflys but embosses it as well - I have to say I was very impressed with how crisp they came out looking! The sentiment is from the Just Believe set and again I have finished it off with some bling!

If anyone would like a copy of the new Mini Catty then please get in touch with me at moley44@hotmail.com

I have to just say sorry for my photos they aren't great but I have put the card to my camara somewhere so have had to use my phone!!

Promise I will be back soon and not leave it so long again!
