Get Well Soon and a Birthday!

My first card is for one of the girls from Julie's Jems, Sharon, she has been taken poorly this week so we send her alittle card to cheer her up! Hope she gets well soon xx

For this card I have used the Sweet Summer Set which can be yours free and you only have 4 days left to get it! I have coloured it in with my markers from the Subtles collection. Quite simple but very effective!

My next card to show you is for the lovely Sarah-Jane (I hope she got this in time!!) It was her birthday yesterday and I hope she had an amazing day - HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH-JANE!!

For this card I have used two sets - Punch Bunch and Sweet Summer. The Owl had to be used and I added the bow and the little bit of bling on her neck.

Have a lovely day

Artistic Etchings

Just a quick post as my boyfriend, Mark, is taking me out for a late valentines date - we are off to Barbican Kitchen which is part of James Tanner's restaurants and is lush. So we are going there for some lunch and then out for a few drinkies. So exctied!!

Here is alittle card made using the Artistic Etchings set which I am in love with. I made the back ground papers using the stamps and the Stamp-a-ma-jig and a little bit of vellum for the crown. Very pleased with how this has turned out!!

Just Believe!

Quick stop today as I have so much too do! Mark is pulling the kitchen apart so there is dust everywhere (he didn't listen when I said put down dust sheets it will help!) and we have a new fridge/freezer coming tonight (well second hand but its new for us!) so have to sort that all out - very boring but guess I have to get on with it!!

Well I finally got around to making a card with the Just Believe set that came with my demo kit - had to force myself to put the owl down!! I stamped everything out for this card but then couldn't work out how I wanted to put it together after 5mins of thinking I am just gonna throw it out the window this is what I came up with!!

First Make and Take!

Well I had my first make and take class yesterday and it went very well! The ladies were lovely (if you reading this hello!!!) and we had some fun making two projects in the afternoon after some lovely lunch and a slice of cake - wish all my days were like that!!

Here is the first project which is a small pizza box which is fab if you have some small cards or a little pressi for someone and need a box for it to go in to (fab with valentines day coming up!!)

This has been made using the Punch Bunch stamp set, the paper is designer paper and the colours are rich razzleberry and old olive - think this combo is one of my favs at the moment!

We then went on to make this fun card! Again this is using the owl from the Punch bunch set and I have used the board of the stamp from the box and the little flowers is from the Tiny Tags set. I have used my punches to cut out the holes and the boards. I have added some little eyes to the owl inside to make him alittle bit more fun

I did send this card to Gemma, who is a memeber of our Jems - it was her birthday on Wed so I hope she got it in time and had a lovely birthday.

I think what I love the most about Stampin' Up is the stamp sets all work well together as well as all the lovely yummy colours!

The Punch Bunch set is a FREE set that you can receive for spending £45 - you only have till the end of feb to get this offer so get your orders in with me quick!!

Getting Ready....!

Lots of things to show you today so wont talk too much!! I have my first make and take class tomorrow...eeek!! I am very excited but abit scared at the same time. Its for one of my friends at work and there will be either 5 or 6 ladies there so should be a nice afternoon - I have got photo's of what we are doing but you will have to wait till tomorrow for them (there is a reason!)

Well as my kit came yesterday I decided today would be a day of getting sorted with some samples and making some little prizes for a draw at the end of the make and taken- what do you think?

I have covered some note books and used the Trendy Trees stamps. I have used Old Olive ribbon to make the pen loops - these are for a prize draw at the end of the class

I have CASED an idea I saw while blog hopping and changed it slightly! I have used the Garden Green house stamps - these are two layers so you need to use the Stamp-a-Ma-jig, which is the best thing since sliced bread!! I have stamped these on to card then cut them out and stuck them on to acetate. There is the old olive ribbon - loving that!!

I think I am in love with this card!! I have used Artistic Etchings and stamped the back ground using the stamp-a-ma-jig to line it all up where I want it all to go. I have used my punches to punch a crown out, old olive ribbon to finish and some sparkle to finish!

Right off for tea now I will report back tomorrow on how it all goes!!

I have my first gathering on Wednesday and I am nearly ready for it, I will report back and let you know how it all goes. I have been playing today but not got a lot to show you. I do have a picture of my work desk to show you why I have nothing to show you yet....
