A Nice Day for a Wedding!

So today I am back with 2 scapbooking pages today.

Last october we attended the wedding of our friends Mel and Mark. I was a bridesmaid and Mark was the bestman. It was a so lovely and nice to spend the day with celebrating their wedding with them.

I have used the photos of the day for my two pages and tried to mirror the layouts but due to placing a strip of the paper in slightly the wrong place and having a splodge of red ink in one place its not exactly the same!

The papers are Love Letter and they are retiring which is such a shame as they are so lovely espcially for romantic projects!
Here is the two pages together...

My Scrapbook is getting quite full now and is so lovely to look through and been great fun to do!

Monday 12 September 2011

Hello! I am so sorry for not being around for a week, I am having quite a few problems with getting my pictures up here on Blogger, hence why there is only one picture today!

Today I want to show you my new page for my scrapbook which is about my best friends. This is one of the only pictures I have of all of us together and is very special to me.

I have used the papers Sweet Stiches to make my layout with some buttons. The letters are done on my Big Shot and them I have put them through an embossing folder (if I can upload the other photo you will see this better!)

Hopefully I will be back sooner if I can get this to work!!
yay I am back and can show you a close up!

Happy Anniversary xxxx

This weekend me and my lovely Marky are celebrating 6years of being together!

I have decided to make a card using Love Letter paper which is one of my favourits but you have to be quick as they are retiring at the end of September  :-(

(I have put the 6 on there to remind Mark how long we have been together!!!)

The birds are a punch called Two Step Bird Punch and I have used the tiny tags set and punch (which is stay yay!!) to finish the card off.

I really hope he likes it! We are off out to see Inbetweeners this afternoon and a little bit of tea and may be a glass of wine or two!!

My Godson

So today I want to show you the page I have made for my Godson, Cody. He is such a cutie pie!!

I have used the train set going across the page. for the smoke coming out of the train I have used the itty bitty punch set and used that for the flowers aswell. I have used an embossing tool to go over the flowers on a soft matt to give them a 3D effect.

My Scrapbook is finally coming together! Got loads more to do though!!!

Nephews!

Today I want to show you a page that I have made about my nephews.

I love these photos of them and the one with their masks makes me smile all the time.

I have used chipboard for the letters and covered with paper now I am not very good at this and pretty sure there must be something that I am doing wrong with this! They are a mess but I have tried and from a distance you can't see the mess they are! hehe!!

Cocktail Time...

I started my scrapbook a few months ago, did one page and left it at that. Now I have my craft bug back I decided I really need to carry it on!

I love these two colours - Old Olive green and Rich Razzleberry - they are just lush and look so lovely together!

The page is about my friend, Mel and me having a love for cocktails - when ever we visit each other (they live in Durham and we are in Plymouth) we have to have cocktails. I have used the photos from our cocktails to show this. The little flowers are from the Itty Bitty set and look lovely with abit of bling!

Quite simple but cute!

Whale of a Time

Just a quick one today following on from the Foxy Lady yesterday I went on to play with the Whale from the same set and came up with this. Again simple but effective!!

Foxy Lady

Ok so I decided that after getting going I would continue with my quest to find the craft bug and play around with an idea I have had for a while. Wanted to keep it simple as I think this is sometimes where I go wrong with over complicating things.

Simple but effective I think!

Slowly getting back!!

I have been away for a few months trying to get my craft bug back. Summer is always a difficult time for me to get motivated and with our new garden being all finished I have spent most of my time out there (if I haven't been working!) So I am sorry that I haven't been around but I am slowly starting to get my craft bug back!!

It started yesterday when I needed something to do but didn't even know where to start let alone what to make. Then I remember something that I seen and played around and this is what I came up with...

I am a massive fan of the keep calm stuff and have seen this sloggan around on a few peoples blogs. I love it and going to get Mark to put it on my wall in the craft room (spare room!!)

Today I have had a play with the owl punch that I love so much and made a wedding card taken inspiration from a blog I have seen but cannot remember whos!

Right I am off for a cuppa and another surf to get some inspiration for a little girls birthday card!

Hope to be back sooner that last time!!

Wedding Wheels

I love this stamp for a wedding - its so different but so simple and looks amazing!

I have stamped the bride and groom in Old Olive and mounted it all up using some designer paper and added some Old Olive ribbon. I think it looks great!

Don't forget not long now till my stall at Plym Valley Railway line - Why not bring the kids down have a ride on the train and a look around the crafty stalls!

Choo Choo!

I have made some lovely cards using the Choo Choo set and the matching Wheel. They are just so cute I cannot get enough of them!!

To change it up abit I have added some animales from the Fox and Friends set and the Party this way is from the set called Party This Way!

I have made these in to some invites for my friends little boy who is going to be 2 in a few weeks time, I didn't use the animals though as only thought of that after and wish I had now! Never mind!! They look so good and I am so pleased with them.

If you are interested in any invites for that special party then why not contact me and see what I can come up with or you could come and learn how to make them yourself. Just contact me at moley44@hotmail.com

Fathers Day Beer!

So today I want to show you the other Fathers Day card that I have made for my little stall in two weeks. I have used the Cheers To You set and stamped out the beer and cut around them. I have used some designer paper for the layering and the stars and stamped out the word Dad. Very simple but quite effective I think!
And here it is in a different colour way
Don't forget to pop by on Sunday 12th June at Plym Valley Railway in Plympton. Would be great to see you all there!

Fathers Day

Fathers day isn't that far away so I have made a start on some cards.
I have used the trendy trees stamp to make the background and some designer paper to make the shirt. I have used a sentiment from a non SU set and the card its mounted on isn't SU either

Heres it in a different colour way

I am going to be selling these  on my stall at Plym Valley Railway, Plympton, Plymouth on 12th June if you are passing then swing by and say hello!

Birthday Jems!

Today is the Birthday of two of the Jems, Lynda and Julie, and after last weeks mistake of not sending cards in time I am organised and they were sent off with plenty of time to get there!

I have used the Strength and Hope set for these cards - I am in love with the butterfly stamp its so detailed and stamps so well. I have made these cards the same but have changed a slight bit of detail - one has pearls and the other had some bling!

The bottom butterfly is sat on some branches from the Two Step Bird punch and the sentiment is from the Just Believe set

Stampin' Up are donating £1 from each purchase of the Strength and Hope Stamp set so why not treat your self and make a difference at the same time.
