Back again!!

Hello for the second time today! Well I was gonna leave this till tomorrow but I have a few mins free before I go and put the roast on, do the washing up and sort stuff out for work (do you think I am putting it all off?!)
Well I went through my stamp box and I found this stamp that I forgot I had. I have also been saving these papers and thought they would go together lovely - I always do that, save papers for a special card then before I know it its been a year since I bought them and they never get used!
I have used a sketch from The Sweet Stop to help with this one - sometimes you just need a bit of help!

that really is it for today - the next time I catch up with you I should have my Stampin' Up starter kit which means I will be offically a demonstrator and part of Julie's Jems! Can you tell I'm excited?!
Bye for now xx

Punch Card

Well today I have had another play! I found this lovely website with animals made out of punches. Now I haven't got all the punches so my cricut came in to use for the most of it but the end result is still very good! I have to say it probably would have been easier with the punches as its can be such a pain getting my cricut out and swapping between the cartridges to get the right shapes! Plus with the punches its much easier to use up scraps of paper. I am waiting for some punches to come with my order from Stampin' Up and cannot wait. Should have my starter kit next week aswell which I am really looking forward to!
I have made a little Lion for my card. He was easy to make but then it took me ages to decide how to put the card together and decide what sort of card he was going to be. He is now an valentines card - slightly different than your normal valentines card!

Right I am off to see if I still have my mojo and have a play with some other bits
Have fun xx

Pizza Box!

Well I have had a little play today. I am trying out some ideas ready for when my starter kit gets here from Stampin' Up - I already have some ladies waiting for me so thought it was best I start coming up with some idea's for a work shop!!
I like these little boxes for cards think they make nice little pressi's but also great to have on hand when you need a quick card. I have used a tutorial that I found here and I have used the Stampin' Up set Cheers to you - so simple to make and really looks lovely!

Cricut

Now I have had my Cricut for a little while and haven't really used it but today I needed a card for my friends little girl who is going to be 2 in a weeks time (don't worry she doesn't look at my blog!) I had quite good fun with this card and its great for using little bits of scrap that you have left over! The only thing I would change is the face, now my mum has the stamps to put on there but she is a 20min drive away so it can stay the way it is! I can't tell you about the paper that I have used cause its scrap although the background paper is a Stampin' Up one.

Hope she likes it!!
Bye for now xx

Hello Again....! (see what I did there!)

Now for some reason I couldn't get these photos to load up on the last post so I am sorry but you have to hear from me twice! I have of course used the Stampin' Up set 'Hello Again'

I have mounted the 3 flowers on to some red card and using a white pen I have gone the picture to make it look as though there is stitching. I have used the colours Real Red Pretty in Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Pumpkin pie.

Right I am off now and I wont be back for a few days as its back to work tomorrow for me - boo!!!

Love Sarah xx

Just a note!

2 quick makes today as I have been trying to sort out my Stampin' Up Starter kit. Its been so hard to pick what I want but with the help of Julie I have got there and managed to pick what I want this month as I am part of her stampers 6 group aswell. Glad I have managed to do this today as I haven't been sleeping cause its all I can think about!!

Now I am not a fan of orange and have no idea what I was thinking when I put this card together but it just happened! It was alot better in my head than on paper!! The stamp set is 'Hello Again' and I have used Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Real Red and Rich Razzleberry. The papers are Stampin' Up.

Right I am off to get ready for work tomorrow - boo!!!

Cocktails!

Just a quick one today! I have been playing again with the Stampin' Up set 'Cheers to You'. I have been doing alot of blog surfing (if thats what you can call it!) and saw a card that I have decided to have a go at and change it slightly. I loved the black and white picture and then pull alittle bit of it and add colour. Quite simple but a really good effect I think!

Don't look too close cause you will see I've gone slightly over the lines!
I have used Basic Black for the outlines. The cocktails are coloured using the stamp pad a paint brush and some water to give it the watercolour effect - I have used Marina Mist, Real Red, Old Olive, Real Red Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. For the back ground I used the 'Trendy Trees' Stamp and used Pumpkin Pie and Marina Mist.

All these cocktails makes me want one!

Hello...

I have some exciting news for you.. I am going to be joining Stampin' Up and the lovely ladies of Julies Jems. I have been thinking about this for a little while and had a lovely chat with Julie and decided that I really want to give it ago and see how I get on - wish me luck!!

So for today I have been working on 2 cards today which I really liked when I made them but now I am not too sure. Oh well gave me an excuse to play with my new stamps!

I have used the Stampin' Up set 'Hello Again' using Real Red, Old Olive, Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight. The ribbon is a sample that Julie sent me but I am not sure what colour it is.

This was kinda taken from the Idea Book but I have slightly change it. Again I have used Stampin' Up 'Hello Again' and the 'Tiny Tags' stamp and punch. I have used the same colours again but the board on the side is Certainly Celery and Pretty in Pink. the paper is from the Designer Pack hostess level 1

Right off for a tidy up an to look through the stamps again to try and sort out what I want for my starting kit! Gosh its so hard to pick cause they are all so nice!

Back Later Sarah x

Cup Cake Toppers

I have made these little toppers for my friend. She is in to making cup cakes and is making some for work but wanted something special to go on top of them and this is what I have come up with! So pleased with how they have turned out and they didn't take me as long as what I thought which is always a plus!!

 here's the little toppers
here's the finish package!

Stampin' Up!

For the last couple of months I have just started to use Stampin' Up products and I love them. They stamp so clear and the details on them is lovely. I have a couple of cards to share with you. Let me know what you guys think!

For these 3 cards I have used the Cheers To You set

I am not a lover of making Mens cards but stamp set is amazing for this! I have layered the middle beer up and added abit of sparkle to the top of the beers
Who's for Cocktails?! I have used abit of glossey accent on the glasses to make them look like glass and have layered up the cherry, the strawberry and the umbrella. I have used a stamp from trendy trees to do the back ground
Love this card! The paper is from the hostess level one. I have added abit of sparkle to the glasses and used the tiny tags set to add the labels

Well thats it for today!
