Happy Anniversary xxxx

This weekend me and my lovely Marky are celebrating 6years of being together!

I have decided to make a card using Love Letter paper which is one of my favourits but you have to be quick as they are retiring at the end of September  :-(

(I have put the 6 on there to remind Mark how long we have been together!!!)

The birds are a punch called Two Step Bird Punch and I have used the tiny tags set and punch (which is stay yay!!) to finish the card off.

I really hope he likes it! We are off out to see Inbetweeners this afternoon and a little bit of tea and may be a glass of wine or two!!

My Godson

So today I want to show you the page I have made for my Godson, Cody. He is such a cutie pie!!

I have used the train set going across the page. for the smoke coming out of the train I have used the itty bitty punch set and used that for the flowers aswell. I have used an embossing tool to go over the flowers on a soft matt to give them a 3D effect.

My Scrapbook is finally coming together! Got loads more to do though!!!

Nephews!

Today I want to show you a page that I have made about my nephews.

I love these photos of them and the one with their masks makes me smile all the time.

I have used chipboard for the letters and covered with paper now I am not very good at this and pretty sure there must be something that I am doing wrong with this! They are a mess but I have tried and from a distance you can't see the mess they are! hehe!!

Belated Birthdays

I have the biggest apology to two of the girls from Julies Jems cause I missed their birthdays last week.

I have popped a card in the post to wish them a belated birthday and they should have received them by now and I hope that they make up for being late (promise I will try harder next year and send them on time!)

This first card is for Karen - it was her birthday on the Royal Wedding so I felt that I should acknowledge this (be rude not too!) so my little Owl has her crown on!!
I used a few things on this - The Owl Punch, the crown was from Tiny Tags and the papers are Springtime Vintage. I have used the Square Lattice embossing folder to add some texture to the Owl and the Scollop circle

The next card is for Sharon

The Owl Punch came in to use again (love that Owl!) To make the bunch of flowers I have used the Boho Blossom punch and some lovely pearls for the middle. I have used the Square Lattice to emboss the background.

I hope the girls like them and I am sorry they were late!

First Make and Take!

Well I had my first make and take class yesterday and it went very well! The ladies were lovely (if you reading this hello!!!) and we had some fun making two projects in the afternoon after some lovely lunch and a slice of cake - wish all my days were like that!!

Here is the first project which is a small pizza box which is fab if you have some small cards or a little pressi for someone and need a box for it to go in to (fab with valentines day coming up!!)

This has been made using the Punch Bunch stamp set, the paper is designer paper and the colours are rich razzleberry and old olive - think this combo is one of my favs at the moment!

We then went on to make this fun card! Again this is using the owl from the Punch bunch set and I have used the board of the stamp from the box and the little flowers is from the Tiny Tags set. I have used my punches to cut out the holes and the boards. I have added some little eyes to the owl inside to make him alittle bit more fun

I did send this card to Gemma, who is a memeber of our Jems - it was her birthday on Wed so I hope she got it in time and had a lovely birthday.

I think what I love the most about Stampin' Up is the stamp sets all work well together as well as all the lovely yummy colours!

The Punch Bunch set is a FREE set that you can receive for spending £45 - you only have till the end of feb to get this offer so get your orders in with me quick!!

Getting Ready....!

Lots of things to show you today so wont talk too much!! I have my first make and take class tomorrow...eeek!! I am very excited but abit scared at the same time. Its for one of my friends at work and there will be either 5 or 6 ladies there so should be a nice afternoon - I have got photo's of what we are doing but you will have to wait till tomorrow for them (there is a reason!)

Well as my kit came yesterday I decided today would be a day of getting sorted with some samples and making some little prizes for a draw at the end of the make and taken- what do you think?

I have covered some note books and used the Trendy Trees stamps. I have used Old Olive ribbon to make the pen loops - these are for a prize draw at the end of the class

I have CASED an idea I saw while blog hopping and changed it slightly! I have used the Garden Green house stamps - these are two layers so you need to use the Stamp-a-Ma-jig, which is the best thing since sliced bread!! I have stamped these on to card then cut them out and stuck them on to acetate. There is the old olive ribbon - loving that!!

I think I am in love with this card!! I have used Artistic Etchings and stamped the back ground using the stamp-a-ma-jig to line it all up where I want it all to go. I have used my punches to punch a crown out, old olive ribbon to finish and some sparkle to finish!

Right off for tea now I will report back tomorrow on how it all goes!!

Punch Card

Well today I have had another play! I found this lovely website with animals made out of punches. Now I haven't got all the punches so my cricut came in to use for the most of it but the end result is still very good! I have to say it probably would have been easier with the punches as its can be such a pain getting my cricut out and swapping between the cartridges to get the right shapes! Plus with the punches its much easier to use up scraps of paper. I am waiting for some punches to come with my order from Stampin' Up and cannot wait. Should have my starter kit next week aswell which I am really looking forward to!
I have made a little Lion for my card. He was easy to make but then it took me ages to decide how to put the card together and decide what sort of card he was going to be. He is now an valentines card - slightly different than your normal valentines card!

Right I am off to see if I still have my mojo and have a play with some other bits
Have fun xx
