Fathers Day Beer!

So today I want to show you the other Fathers Day card that I have made for my little stall in two weeks. I have used the Cheers To You set and stamped out the beer and cut around them. I have used some designer paper for the layering and the stars and stamped out the word Dad. Very simple but quite effective I think!
And here it is in a different colour way
Don't forget to pop by on Sunday 12th June at Plym Valley Railway in Plympton. Would be great to see you all there!

Engagement Invites!

Today I want to share with you my Engagement Invites!!!

I am so chuffed with how they have turned out... they are lush!!

I took inspiration from a very talented lady called Teneale Williams. If you have looked at her blog you should take some time out and have a look. Her cards are lovely! This is the post for the card I took my inspiration from. I have changed it alittle but just loved her style and the colours.

Here is my take

The papers are Love Letter
I have cut all my circles, numbers and letters on my Cricut
The Stamp set is Cheers To You
I printed the inside from my computer

I am so pleased with how these have turned out and can't wait for the party now!

If your are interested in making your own invites for a party that you are holding then why not get in contact with me to see what products we can off and book a workshop to learn how to make them

Training!

Yesterday I showed you my scrapbook page that I had completed through some training that Julie had set us - well today I am going to show you the different cards that we made and they all have one thing in common - they all used the BIG SHOT!

The beers have been stamped from the Cheers to You set, the blue is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder and the beers have been cut out using the Lots of Tags die

The butterflies are from The Beautiful Wings die, the green has been embossed using the Elegant Bouquet folder and the sentiment is from the Just Believe set

This has been made using the Fox and Friends stamp set. The train I belive has been made using the Decorative Label Punch (correct me if I am wrong!) and they have been cut in half and run throught the perfect Polka Dots embossing folder

This made up using two dies and an embossing folder. The papers are Spring Time Vintage and the flowers have been cut using Fun Flowers  then put on to the Top Note die which has been put through the Square Lattice embossing folder

I like this card - very simple but stunning at the same time. This is an embossing folder called Manhattan Flower and I have used the debossed side rather that the embossed side as I really liked this side better!

Right thats it for me today don't forget if you would like to learn how to do any of these projects or would like to purchase any items that you have read about then contact me at moley44@hotmail.com for a chat

Take care

Pizza Box!

Well I have had a little play today. I am trying out some ideas ready for when my starter kit gets here from Stampin' Up - I already have some ladies waiting for me so thought it was best I start coming up with some idea's for a work shop!!
I like these little boxes for cards think they make nice little pressi's but also great to have on hand when you need a quick card. I have used a tutorial that I found here and I have used the Stampin' Up set Cheers to you - so simple to make and really looks lovely!

Cocktails!

Just a quick one today! I have been playing again with the Stampin' Up set 'Cheers to You'. I have been doing alot of blog surfing (if thats what you can call it!) and saw a card that I have decided to have a go at and change it slightly. I loved the black and white picture and then pull alittle bit of it and add colour. Quite simple but a really good effect I think!

Don't look too close cause you will see I've gone slightly over the lines!
I have used Basic Black for the outlines. The cocktails are coloured using the stamp pad a paint brush and some water to give it the watercolour effect - I have used Marina Mist, Real Red, Old Olive, Real Red Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. For the back ground I used the 'Trendy Trees' Stamp and used Pumpkin Pie and Marina Mist.

All these cocktails makes me want one!

Stampin' Up!

For the last couple of months I have just started to use Stampin' Up products and I love them. They stamp so clear and the details on them is lovely. I have a couple of cards to share with you. Let me know what you guys think!

For these 3 cards I have used the Cheers To You set

I am not a lover of making Mens cards but stamp set is amazing for this! I have layered the middle beer up and added abit of sparkle to the top of the beers
Who's for Cocktails?! I have used abit of glossey accent on the glasses to make them look like glass and have layered up the cherry, the strawberry and the umbrella. I have used a stamp from trendy trees to do the back ground
Love this card! The paper is from the hostess level one. I have added abit of sparkle to the glasses and used the tiny tags set to add the labels

Well thats it for today!
